Smart seating for scooters & power chairs

The scooter was engineered. The seat was an afterthought.

The Ease Cushion turns the seat you already own into an all-day comfort system — air cells that move your pressure points every 60 seconds while you ride.

  • Automatic pressure shifting, every 60 seconds
  • Non-slip base for flat and contoured seats
  • Lift it between scooter, wheelchair and armchair

Who it's for

If the seat is what ends your outings, this is for you.

Mobility scooter ridersPower chair usersAnyone seated for hours at a stretchBuying for a parent

You don't need a diagnosis to want a seat that stops fighting you at the forty-minute mark. If the last stretch of every trip is the uncomfortable one, that's the problem this solves.

The problem

A factory seat holds you. It doesn't carry you.

Scooter seats are specified to be durable, weatherproof and cheap to produce. Comfort across a two-hour outing was never in the brief — so your weight lands on the same two points and stays there for the whole ride.

  • Pressure has nowhere to goStatic padding spreads the load across a wider area. It never moves it.
  • Foam gives up before you doAftermarket pads compress flat and hold heat, so relief is temporary.
  • So the trip gets shorterThe battery isn't the limit on most outings. The seat is.
Inside the cushion

Three layers doing three different jobs.

Pick a layer to see what it's for. This is what you're paying for at $899 — not thicker foam.

HAPT® technology

Simple idea. Serious engineering.

What happens

You sit down and forget about it

Switch it on and the cushion starts working. There's nothing to adjust mid-ride.

What you'd see

The contact points move

One set of cells lifts while the other releases, then they swap, on a fixed 60-second cycle.

How it works

Horizontal Alternating Pressure

Two independent air-cell circuits on a 60-second cycle, on a high-density base that keeps the top surface level.

Why it matters

The ache never compounds

Relief isn't something you have to remember to take. It happens on its own, all ride.

What changes for you

Four things you notice in the first week.

You stop bracing against the seat

Continuous pressure shifting means the tissue carrying you a minute ago is resting now. Nothing gets the chance to build into the ache that usually decides when you head home.

Why it matters — the last half of the outing is the part you get back

You sit straighter

A high-density base stabilises your pelvis instead of letting you sink and slide forward.

Why it matters — less tailbone stiffness

It stays put

The non-slip underside grips the seat through turns and over kerbs — no shifting, no re-seating yourself.

Why it matters — you're not adjusting it mid-ride

It comes with you

Light enough to carry in one hand. Take it off the scooter and onto the recliner, the car seat, the wheelchair — the relief follows you rather than living on one machine.

Why it matters — one cushion, every chair you use

The difference

Two hours out, two very different rides.

Without Ease
  • Pressure lands in two places and stays there
  • You shift your weight to buy a few more minutes
  • Foam flattens and holds heat
  • The second half of the trip gets cut
With Ease
  • Contact points move every 60 seconds
  • Nothing to adjust while you're riding
  • High-density base holds its shape
  • You decide when the outing ends
Against the alternatives

Six criteria. One of them moves.

Ease Cushion compared with a standard scooter seat and a generic foam cushion.
Criterion Standard scooter seat ★ Best choiceEase Cushion Generic foam cushion
Pressure shifting Static, no relief Active shift every 60 seconds No active movement
Support Minimal padding High-density stabilising base Compresses flat over time
Grip & stability Fixed, no cushioning Non-slip grip, locks in place Slides and shifts
Long-term comfort Wears out quickly Engineered for daily use Holds heat, temporary relief
Moves between seats Fixed to the scooter Lift it onto any chair Portable, but no relief either way
Warranty Whatever came with the scooter 2 years, free returns Rarely covered

Straight answers

What riders ask before they order.

Will it fit my specific scooter or power chair?

Yes for the large majority. The Ease Cushion uses universal sizing and a non-slip base designed to fit flat or contoured seats across major scooter and power chair brands. If your seat is unusual, call us with the measurements first and we'll tell you honestly.

Can I move it between my scooter, wheelchair and armchair?

That's how most people use it. It's light enough to carry in one hand, and the non-slip base grips whatever you set it on — no straps or fittings to undo.

Will I feel it moving under me while I ride?

The cells trade off gradually and the top surface stays level, so the movement is designed to be unobtrusive. Most people stop noticing it within the first outing.

How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?

Runtime and charge time to be supplied by the product team. A charger is included in the box.

How is this different from the foam or gel pad I already bought?

A foam or gel pad spreads your weight over a wider area, which helps for the first stretch of a ride. But the contact points never move. The Ease Cushion moves them every 60 seconds.

Can I pay with my HSA or FSA card?

Yes — use it like any other card at checkout and we'll email an itemised receipt for your records. Final eligibility always depends on your specific plan.

What is the trial and return policy?

30 days from delivery. Use it on your real routes, not just around the house. If it isn't right, returns are free and we'll refund it. The 2-year warranty runs from there.

Your next ride should feel different.

Thirty days on your own routes. Free shipping both ways. If the seat still ends the outing, send it back.
